Seminar on “Thailand’s National Ecosystem Assessment (NEA):Where Do We Go From Here?”
will be organized on 16 June 2026 at Phra Phrom Room the Asawin Grand Convention Hotel, Bangkok.
This seminar aims to share the key findings and policy recommendations with policymakers, academics, businesses and local communities and discuss the ways to effectively implement these recommendations.
The assessment which focus on marine ecosystems was undertaken by a team of experts through CHULAUNISEARCH. The assessment has just been completed and has resulted in a comprehensive report with up to date scientific evidence as well as local knowledge that supports national policies and actions related to biodiversity and it’s contributions to people.
The seminar will be presided over by the Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning (ONEP), and The expert team will present the findings and recommendations and followed by panel discussion on “Sustainable Management of Marine Ecosystem: Where Do We Go from Here?”
